corkscrew twist tutorial

I really do hate hearing myself on camera but I'm doing this for the good of my blog followers - so you have to suffer with me...sorry!!

I hope these tutorial are helpful to you who are trying to learn. The key to doing it though is PRACTICE. I've had lots of practice to perfect it & so it's fast & easy for me. You'll just get better & better each time you do it and you learn your own mistakes along the way so don't feel discouraged!!

Thanks! I've only tried this once, but it didn't work - because I was doing it wrong! Can't wait to try it out. It is so helpful to watch you do it first....
I feel like MY voice sounds so much deeper on camera - yuck!

That helps me so much! My niece loves the 'twisty braids' but I can never do them just right! I think I'll go give it another try... :o)

I do mine a little different in that I twist both the pieces in the same direction and then twist them together in the opposite direction. Mine turn out just fine too.
Thanks for the tutorial!

Hi - first-time commenter here :waves:

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I've struggled with twisty braids for so long! I always end up giving up and just doing regular braids. But now that I have some direction I think I can pull it off. THANKS!

P.S. You totally sound like you're from Utah *lol* I grew up in Utah. I moved to Oregon about 10 years ago and people kept telling me I had a little bit of an accent and I had NO IDEA what they were talking about - now I can hear it in other people *LOL*

Okay Hi! I love all your hairstyles, they are so gorgeous!!! I also just thought i would ask you to stay in this hair world, I don't like that everyone is leaving, and all this "High School" hair drama going around... I know you said nothing yet about leaving, but I really would love it if you stayed!! My cyber world is dying, all the sites i love are stopping, or thinking about stopping :( :( Everyone is acting like High school girls, and it has nothing to do with Jenn, i adore her, and i feel so bad, that people are causing her to leave...

Jessi, you are heaven sent! I am friends with Rachel and she told me about your blog you are amazing and I don't know what I would do without all of your awesome ideas. I think that you should publish a book, I would be the first one to but it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I couldn't get my fingers to do it the way you explained, but I tried twisting the way Plain and Precious described in her comment and IT WORKED! Maybe it's a left-brain, right-brain think...?
