quadruple french braids

This is just a fun little twist on your 2 french braids.
First, part the hair in the front & inside-out french braid all the way down.
Do the other side the same.
I did a zig-zag part & then started about an inch down just inside-out french braiding. When you get to the bottom, connect the two braids together. Do the same on the other side.
Once you've finished, I connected the two braids at the base of the head so that the first braid wasn't distracting & moving around alot. It would be cute to add a bow there.
You're finished!!

that's really cute!
here's a similar idea you could try:

split the hair into quarters, two in front, two in back. inside out braid each section toward the top of the head (not sure what you call it, the crown? where a regular high pony tail would be...) once you run out of the "french" part of the braid, continue to braid to the end. Then weave the four braids together in sort of a celtic knot shape (take the front right braid and loop it counter clockwise around the front left, take the front left and loop itcounter clockwise around the bottom left, take the bottom left and loop it counter clockwise around the bottom right, take the bottom right and loop it counter clockwise around the top right--will require a little tricky tucking--all the braids should now be in the center of the braid knot). secure the braids in the center of the knot and un-braid the rest and curl it.
I'm just curious to see what you think of it, if my instructions are clear as mud, etc.

GooberDiva, your idea sounds cute too. Do you have pics? I got a little confused with the wrapping part.

I haven't done it in a while, but my "Samantha" Doll still has her hair like that...but she's at my parents house...I'll see what I can do.

I did this one on my daughters hair today and it looks super cute!!! Her hair was coming out of the braids towards the bottom and was looking kinda messy, so instead of braiding all the way to to the bottom, i just ended the braids where you brought the sides braides together at, and left them as ponny tails. Very cute hair style!!!!
