Knots

I'm not lovin' this. It didn't turn out as cute as I pictured in my head - but here it is anyway. The reason why I don't like it as much is because after I knotted the hair & I pulled it into another section, I didn't do it as tight as I should have. You'll see.

Do 4 parts in the front & section them off with elastics.
Knot each individual pony. I pinned them to keep them out of the way.
Section the hair further down & add the knot into it then add the elastic. This is where I was talking about. Make sure that it's pulled back tight before you add the knot on top. You can see hers is kinda loose.
Pull back into pony or bun. & that's it!!

  3. I think it turned out great! Hope my daughters hair is cooperative enough (she's got a little curl and knots are kinda fussy with curl for me).

  6. Such cute ideas! I love your blog! I stumbled upon it while I was looking for ideas for my daughter's hair for my sister's wedding that is this weekend! I decided to go with a couple of "Tuck under knots", curl up all the loose hair, and then pin it with some flowers and sparkly pins. I will post pics after the weekend!

Thanks for the great ideas! And, can I have your daughter's hair for myself? It is so pretty!!! :)

  11. I love this! I actually did it on my oldest's hair this morning for school. Well, close. I just did two knots and took them straight back to two messy buns. It helped, I think that her hair was soaked when I tied the knots.
You are very talented! Thanks for sharing your cute ideas!

  13. I did this today and it turned out way cute. I did the 3 knots on top but instead of doing one bun on the bottom, I did 3 messy little buns after the knots. Then I parted the bottom half of her hair down the middle and did 2 messy buns on those. I got a ton of compliments today. I will try and take a picture and add it as a comment. thanks for the great idea!
