braids ALL over

I know - this isn't something I would normally do. I'm really excited for her to just sleep in it & then to have wavy hair tomorrow. But here it is anyway:
It is much easier than it looks & it's alot better if the hair is damp. Part the hair on a slant. Then I divided that part in half.
Inside-outside french braid each half. I think this braid is actually easier to do when you have smaller chunks to braid, just like this. Braid further down on the ends than I did. I don't know what I was thinking.
Go to the other side & part it on a slant also. & divide in half.
Braid those also.
Keep making your way around the head, switching back & forth from right side to left of head until you meet in the middle.
I added a headband so she looked more girly. Can't wait for the end results tomorrow!!

  1. I love the "after braids" hair look. When I was a little girl I would braid my hair a coule nights per week so that I could have the wavy look the following morning. So now I do the same for my daughter. Your braids look great! You're on my blogroll so I'll be checking back often. :)
