twisties

Hope everyone had a fantabulous Easter. I'm sure ready for the weather to be more consistent & stay warm every day instead of the wind/rain storms & then some good weather for a few days.

If you haven't learned how to do the corkscrew twist, you could simplify it by doing regular 3 strand braids. & If you don't have enough time - you could just do the top - but the bottom twisties just make it that much cuter!
Start by diving 3 sections right in the front & twist each section.
Do the same underneath - 3 sections 3 twists
Make 2 pigtails. Bring the top twisties all to one side.
& the bottom twisties to the opposite side as the top.
Twist braid each pig tail.
Fold in half & add elastic
Add some bows & you are finished.

  1. I was just wondering what kind of products you use on your little girls hair? It looks so amazingly healthy and shiny and everything so smooth. Thanks for the cool hair-dos, you are very creative!

  8. Hi there, I know you don't know me but I LOOOVE your site. I have a suggestion for you if you are up for it.....I have toyed with the idea for years but never had anyone to do it on until this morning when a friend had me do her hair. I started it just like a french braid but used two strands, then I just tied knots, taking in more hair after each (one layer knot) like you would a french braid. Then ended it with a messy bun. It actually looked pretty cool. You are so creative and could jazz it up better than I ever could. If you get bored, could you try it for me then post it? Thanks!!!!! BTW: I give your blog site to other moms and because of you, their girls will sit to get their hair done just like your little girls. Thanks for inspiring us mom!!!!

  13. Shakiya- if you're the crafting type, check out this link...I make all my girls bows, and I LOVE BIG bows, for crazy cheap. You can make them for about 1$ or so- styles that would cost 8-15$ on etsy, and you can make them to match your outfits perfectly :-) hope it helps!
