Here's another side pony:
Start by splitting the hair about 2/3 of the way down, right in half. Add 5 elastics evenly on the bottom.
Twist them all together. You have to split each of the ponies in half so it can be part of a twist on each side (except the end pieces - I didn't divide them at all) So you come out with 5 twisted ponies.
Going off of my part (which I slanted - again I LOVE slanted parts too:), I sectioned off the rest of the hair into a pony right in the middle of the first 2 lower piggies. Include the twist into the pony above.
Do your next section, adding the twist from below. After I added that elastic, I brought over the piece from the left side & added another elastic so I have a section that is not only coming up, but going across. Do it all the way through. On the last section, I brought all the hair into the side pony.

Super Cute! I just did one of your other side ponies on my daughter last night....she slept in it and it still looked cute today with a bit of a touch up! I can't wait to try this one!
I am just loving your site. I am a mother of 3 girls (AHH!!), I just love your ideas and always look forward to seeing what new things you've come up with. You inspire me to even try different combinations you've posted previously.. My oldest has short hair and ears that somewhat poke out, what can I do?
I love your hair styles!! I went to hair school, but I am NOT good at coming up with the ideas. So I LOVE your blog!!!! Thank you!
I love your blog and I am glad that you are back!
Very cute!! Do you have any REALLY FAST ideas for before school hair dos?
I am so excited I found your blog, you've got the cutest ideas! i am a recently converted "hair mom" so I pretty much check blogs every day to figure out what to do. Thanks for the great pictures and fun ideas.
My 3 nieces were in a Modeling show today and I got to do their hair I did this one on my 4 year old she looked Great!! I'm so glad you have this blog!! My creativity is gone after 15 years of doing my little ones and others hair! THANKS!!
I love your blog!
Im getting married in November and I want a cool hair idea for my daughters hair ( who is also my flower girl.) she has shoulder length hair and I hate the way it looks when its down...do you have a cool idea to do her hair for a wedding do?
First of all, I have to say that I just adore your blog. Your daughter has some amazing hair. How do you get her to sit still while you are doing her hair? My little gal used to let me do whatever but now, I can't get her to sit still to even brush it.
You are always so creative!!! Thanks for all your ideas!! I use them in my daughters hair all the time and ALWAYS get compliments on how her hair looks!
Dial Fam - my little girl's ears actually stick out a little bit & it used to bother me - but now I just think it's cute & part of who she is. If her hair is short - you can simplify styles & just keep the hair half up & do something cute with it!
Sherilyn - I'll try to come up with some quick ideas for school.
Amy - we do her hair in front of the tv where she will just sit & watch the entire time I do her hair. Give treats, books or toys to keep her entertained too.
This do is SUPER cute. You inspire me! I love to poke around on here, and I'm never disappointed.
I just had to leave a comment and let you know how much I LOVE this hair do. I have done this on my daughter multiple times now and we always get lots of compliments. I have been on a side pony kick and have done lots of vatiations of the ones you have on your blog.
Thanks for sharing!!!!
