I parted the hair down the middle. This doesn't have to be perfect - just kind of loose looking. I twisted one half of the pony tail.
Twist the other half, also.
Bring them together in a pony tail with an elastic.
Grab a piece from the pony & wrap it around the elastic so you can't see the elastic.
I use a clear elastic at the very bottom of the wrap to hold it in. It works great & you can pull the hair down over the clear elastic to cover it up.
You can curl the pony or just leave it as is.
I love this style, so simple yet elegant. Thank you!
ReplyDeletecute version of the 'flip thru' pony tail. My youngest's hair is too short for that.. this will be perfect! I'm so happy I found your blog!
ReplyDeleteVery cute pony! Do you have any ideas for growing out bangs to keep them out of my daughters face and still look cute?
ReplyDeleteVery cute and very simple. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love it! This is one I would even do for myself!
ReplyDeleteI have been a secret stocker for a LONG time! I absolutely love your blog and you are one of the BEST hair blogs out there. Then, I find out yesterday that you are Melinda's sister! That is so exciting, what a small world. I just moved to AK and Melinda has been such a good friend. You're awesome, thanks for sharing your talent!
ReplyDeleteI have just discovered the world of hair blogs. My 5 yr old dd is THRILLED! I am just a "run around however you wake up" kindof mom- and she is a "please play with my hair and make it pretty" kind of girl.
