This might look a lot more complicating than what it really is. It's actually quite easy. All you have to be able to do is know how to do a regular braid.
First, make 3 piggies on each side.
I started with the top right & braided it.
Take it across, over to the top left. Add your elastic.
Braid the top left & cross it down to the middle right, add your elastic. Then braid that & cross it over to the middle left. See the pattern - you are making a zig-zag pattern. But stop there.
Now, go to your bottom left & braid that.
Cross it over to the bottom right & add your elastic.
Braid that & add it to the middle left so that the zig - zags meet in the middle to make a side pony tail.
Curl the pony & add your cute bow. That's it. Not too complicating, right?

ReplyDeleteCute and easy! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you keep coming up with new ideas. You are a hair genius!
ReplyDeleteI did this one for my daughter this morning. It was SOOOOOO easy and fast. She loved it. She always says she just wants her hair down, but with these ideas, who could want that? So, she gets cute hair, I get to do her cute hair, and people get to comment on her cute hair. Don't worry, you get all the credit! Thanks for a fun, easy, and adorable hairdo! Oh, and people in Casper, Wyoming are known for not doing their hair!
ReplyDeleteI did this one on my daughter yesterday. Her hair is layered, so I had to put the piggies a little closer together so the braids didn't have so many flyaways. It was SO cute!! We loved it, and she got a lot of compliments yesterday. Thanks so much for all of these cute ideas and keep 'em comin'!!!
ReplyDeleteI did this one on my oldest daughter's hair yesterday and got tons of comments. I already posted a comment on the worm twists one about my youngest daughters hair. I too give you all the credit! I am just a copy cat that LOVES to do my daughter's hair. Thanks again!

ReplyDeleteI just did this on my little girl today and it turned out adorable! Her hair's not quite as thick so the top braid got a little skinny, but still cute! Just wanted to let you know I got compliments out the wazoo! The credit goes to you! Thanks for all the adorable styles!!!
