Part the hair straight down the middle. Pull up into pigtails but do not pull the hair all the way through.
On each piggy, pull out a section of hair from the middle. This will be the part that stays straight.
Add an elastic around the rest to make a messy bun just like I showed last week how I do messy buns. The hardest part is keep the long piece out of the bun - so grab everything but the straight piece. Instead of doing a messy bun with elastics - you could use bobby pins instead & pin around it.
I blow dried & FLAT IRONED the long pieces. I wanted them really straight.
Add your bows & you're all done!!

Although I do like the messy piggies . . . I am completely in love with the side by side braids. SUCH a cute twist on boring old french braid (which I subject my daughter to frequently). So thank you. That's all . . . I visit often, but I'm not much of a commenter unless I see something I absolutely love. Which I do!
Hey I am having a giveaway over on my blog!
